Homosexual Marriage
Polls show that homosexual marriage is losing support in New Jersey.
The Quinnipiac University survey found 49 percent of voters oppose a law allowing same-sex couples to marry, while 46 percent support such legislation, reversing an April poll that found 49 percent supported it and 43 percent opposed it.
Same-sex marriage has lost in every state in which it has been on the ballot. Voters have said that marriage is between a man and a woman all 31 times that they have had a chance to do so. Just like abortion, judicial activism and political opportunism have managed to legalize it in some states against the wishes of the people. The phrase “by the people and for the people” is becoming increasingly antiquated.

I heard on the news tonight that a couple in England is suing the government over civil marriage law. It seems that when they went to apply for a civil union they were told that a civil union was for two people of the same sex only. They consider this as discrimination. Sometime legalisms make no sense.
