FL church celebrates 10 with Roy Lanier

Lehigh Acres Church to Mark 10th Anniversary with Nationally Renowned Gospel Preacher, Roy H. Lanier, Jr.

The Lehigh Acres, Fla., church of Christ, located at 7850 Buckingham Road, will mark their 10th anniversary in their Lehigh Acres building with a compelling three-day gospel meeting entitled, “Church, Who Needs It?”

The four-part series which is free and open to all (no collections or solicitations!) will be presented on Friday, May 27 at 7 pm, Saturday, May 28 at 7 pm and Sunday, May 29 at 9 and 10 am. A free old-fashioned potluck dinner will follow the last lesson at 11 am. The meeting is currently featured on their website. A nursery will be available for infant care as needed.

Roy H. Lanier Jr. was born in Abilene, Tex., the son of an illustrious gospel preacher, Roy H. Lanier Sr. He attended Abilene Christian High School, Freed-Hardeman College, Florida Christian College, and Abilene Christian College, where he was awarded a BA degree, summa cum laude, in Bible and Greek. Freed-Hardeman University, Henderson, Tenn., awarded him an LLD in May, 2002.

He taught at the Bear Valley School of Preaching for over 10 years and has held countless meetings in and out of the United States. He has been involved in several formal debates as well as radio and television broadcasting of the Word. He has written and edited numerous publications and books.

The church at Lehigh Acres is excited about the timely messages to be delivered and we look forward to the arrival of Roy H. Lanier, Jr. to labor with us for these few days.
