It appeared in the USA Today last October and the headline read: “Biologists find proof chivalry isn’t dead.” But they weren’t talking about men and women, they were reporting a startling new discovery about crickets. Male crickets risk their lives in order to keep their female mates safe. When threatened by birds who desire to make them a gourmet snack, England’s male field crickets gave their mates priority crawling into burrows. The report didn’t include American crickets, but we will assume they are equally gallant. Of course, the biologists conclude this is somehow a chance of evolution, but a common-sense approach more easily sees it as wisely designed by God. A quote from the above article by brother Ed: “The more closely we examine creation, the more evidence is revealed of its Creator.” I’m adding Romans 1:19-20 which proves this statement to be true.
