Bible Riddle…See if You Can Figure it Out
Are you ready for another Bible riddle?
Here you go: Jesus talked to a lot of different people, but did you know he once talked to a person who was only 12 inches tall? What was the person’s name?
See if you can figure out the riddle without checking the scripture reference, but if you must have a hint then try checking out John 3:1-12. You’ll find the answer somewhere in there. Have fun! (Spolier Alert – If you don’t want to see the answer don’t click on the comments.)

But a broken spirit dries the bones.” Proverbs 17:22

He was talking to Sakeus.

Good guess, Abel. But Sakeus isn’t the answer. Sakeus was short, but he was too tall to be the answer to the riddle.

Okay, I had to cheat. I knew that Jesus spoke to Nicodemus, but in my mind I could not see where the joke was coming in, until I finally read the text, and the Bible says what Nicodemus was among the Jews. Very good.

Who said cheaters never win? ;) People at work were guessing the right person but they didn’t know why; glad you picked up on it and enjoyed it.

Well, truthfully, I was like them until I read the Scripture. Did they figure it out?

Nah. I had to tell them. I gave them clues about it being a play on words but they still couldn’t figure it out. They got it when I gave them the reason though.
